Running a Course
Courses are organised into clear lessons and topics, so learning is easy to follow. You can pause and resume anytime, and the Resources button gives extra materials for each topic to deepen your knowledge.
Certificates
With our Certificate Report, you can download certificates quickly and effortlessly. It’s designed to make the process simple, giving you the flexibility to bulk download in any arrangement you need. This powerful management feature saves time, reduces admin, and keeps everything organised.

Training Matrix
The easy to use Training Matrix saves hours of time for managers each week. It instantly displays all compliant training records for Face to Face and E-Learning courses. It can be exported to Excel or a nicely formatted pdf report.
Compliance Report
Our Compliance Report provides a complete overview of mandatory compliance for each home, ready for analysis or a CQC inspection. You can export it to Excel or generate a professional PDF report. Plus, you can drill back and compare current months with previous months, going back as far as you need for full historical insight.
Management Statistics
Get a complete bird’s-eye view of your organisation’s compliance! Drill down by home/branch, role, or individual learner to analyse data in detail. You can also bulk message an entire home, everyone in a role, or individual learners directly—plus access each learner’s Events from the same area for a seamless management experience.
Care Certificate
Learners can complete all 16 Care Certificate Standards with Your Hippo’s mandatory courses and built-in observation records. Sign-off is simple, certificates can be downloaded directly, and managers can track progress instantly via the matrix or Care Certificate Report.
All Wales Induction Framework
In the same way as the Care Certificate, learners can complete all required learning mapped to the 5 AWIF workbooks using Your Hippo’s mandatory courses and built-in observation records. Sign-off is straightforward, certificates can be downloaded directly, and managers can track progress instantly via the matrix or AWIF Report.
Induction Programs
If you prefer not to use our built-in AWIF or Care Certificate programs, you can create your own bespoke induction program tailored to your organisation’s needs. This can be a completely unique induction or combined with the AWIF or Care Certificate requirements if desired, giving you full flexibility.

For the AWIF, we decided to take the same approach as we did for the Care Certificate. This means learners running Mandatory courses will have the completions automatically mapped across, create your observations and complete the AWIF direct from our Learning Management System.
