  • Understand the different forms of reduced awareness states 
  • Be aware of the symptoms of concussion 
  • Know the signs of complications of concussions 
  • Be aware of the types of Traumatic Brain Injuries 
  • Know how TBIs can progress 
  • Be aware of common forms of ABIs 
  • Know the first aid steps for a head injury 
  • Understand what to do in the event of a conscious casualty 
  • Know what to do in the event of an unconscious casualty 
  • Be aware of the common long-lasting effects of an ABI 
  • Know how those with ABIs are rehabilitated 
  • Know how to support those with ABIs
